Procter & Gamble now MUCH BETTER known as P&G (so much that on their website you don't see the words Procter & Gamble ANYWHERE) is a fortune 500 company that owns tons of other brands. This bothers me.. not because I know that whether I buy Tide or Cheer I am paying the same person but because P&G are one of the WORST companies for animal testing and I am very against it. This makes it hard for me to avoid giving them my money because they own everything I need and want. I researched P&G a little and found out that they have had a hard time with their company... they got a lot of shit about their older logo saying it was satanic, 38 woman died from Toxic Shock Syndrom because of their brand "Rely" and I am 100% happy about this. For being one of the largest companies in the world and owning so many brands its hard to think about how many animals they torchure to test for each brand.
I know that our blogs were suppose to be about things that we are learning in class but at the same time I have covered 5 topics and maybe this sixth one can be considered arcitecture. I am mentioning the compnay and the brands they have under their belt (mostly so you don't buy them though).
